Meditation app taps former Twitter exec for chief business officer

Headspace, an app focused on guided meditation, named Ross Hoffman its first chief business officer, TechCrunch reports.

Mr. Hoffman previously served as Twitter’s vice president of global content partnerships. Mr. Hoffman, who had worked at Twitter since 2011, will join Headspace in July.

Headspace, which raised $30 million in 2015, has been building its executive team. The company recently hired a chief scientist and head of growth, according to TechCrunch.
