LogicStream rolls out clinical modules for sepsis, VTE and CAUTI

Minneapolis-based LogicStream Health, a clinical process measurement solutions provider, launched a series of clinical process modules Thursday to improve workflows and compliance related to sepsis, catheter-associated urinary tract infections and venous thromboembolism.

The clinical process modules run on the LogicStream Health platform in nearly real-time to help clinicians perform gap analyses to ensure EHR content is aligned with current, evidence-based process interventions. The modules can also conduct root-cause analyses to help clinicians identify and fix clinical processes for sepsis, CAUTI and VTE.

"LogicStream Health provides unique instant insights that allow clinicians to easily monitor and manage each individual intervention in the clinical process at multiple levels across the organization: from a system-wide level down to individual clinician level," said Brita Hansen, MD, CMO of LogicStream Health. "Our pre-packaged clinical process modules also present higher-level visualization of metrics that tie the individual process interventions directly to clinical outcomes and intermediate process measures."
