Virtual Consultations allows HealthTap users to connect in group teleconferences. Through these multi-participant telemedicine consultations, users in 174 countries can join each other on private videos, texts and voice chats in real time.

In addition to providing top physicians to Virtual Consultations users, HealthTap has also allowed language interpreters to join in on the conferences. Translation services in 21 languages — including Mandarin, Spanish, French, American Sign Language, Arabic, Russian and Nepali — will be offered.

The combination of group conferences and language interpreters gives a myriad of people — such as world travelers and non-English speaking family members — the chance to experience real-time care and understand diagnoses.
