Hawaii Dental Service, the state's largest dental health benefits provider, has named Colbert Seto its CIO.
Mr. Seto previously served as CIO of Ohana Pacific Health, Hawaii's largest post-acute care provider, as well as Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific in Honolulu, according to the Sept. 9 Hawaii Dental Service news release. He was also IT director of Honolulu-based Hawaii Pacific Health.
In his new role, Mr. Seto will lead IT, information systems, information security and project management for Hawaii Dental Service, which is part of Delta Dental. He will also contribute to overall organizational strategic planning and support the Hawaii Dental Service's foundation and subsidiaries.
Mr. Seto serves on the board of directors of the CIO Council of Hawaii.
