George W. Bush to keynote HIMSS15

President George W. Bush will be a keynote speaker at the 2015 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition, April 12 to 16 in Chicago.

During his administration, President Bush called on the nation’s healthcare providers to switch to electronic records and created the ONC to help facilitate health IT adoption. Other health-related accomplishments include expanding prescription drug benefits to 40 million Medicare beneficiaries and launching global HIV/AIDS and malaria initiatives.

His talk will reflect on his time in office, the challenges the country is currently facing and his vision for continued improvement.
