Geisinger selects Cerner’s population health platform

In an effort to boost its population health program, Geisigner Health System, based in Danville, Pa., plans to use Cerner’s population health management platform.

Geisinger will integrate Cerner’s HealtheIntent system into its unified data architecture platform, which is designed to handle both structured and unstructured data.

“Implementing HealtheIntent as part of our [unified data architecture] will afford our providers unparalleled access to data and allow them to pursue new and exciting data analytics opportunities that will improve patient experience and patient outcomes,” said David Feinberg, MD, CEO of Geisinger.
