GE Healthcare, Arterys partner to develop cardiac imaging platform: 3 key points

Privately-held medical imaging company Arterys has launched its Arterys System, an intelligence platform designed to enhance standard medical imaging.

Here are three key points.

1. The Arterys Platform was launched as a part of GE Healthcare’s ViosWorks, a cardiac solution designed to reduce MRI assessment time when compared to conventional cardiac scans.

2. ViosWorks is designed to provide 3-D cardiac anatomy, function and flow in a free-breathing, 10-minute scan.

3. “We are excited to collaborate with Arterys and introduce this innovative cardiac MR solution that can capture seven-dimensional viewing capabilities of the heart,” said Ioannis Panagiotelis, chief marketing officer, Global MR at GE Healthcare.
