Mr. Muntz, who currently works with patient engagement solutions vendor GetWellNetwork, began his volunteer, non-voting position with AHIMA July 10.
“David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his distinguished career in the private and public sectors,” said AHIMA Board President Angela Kennedy, EdD, in a news release. “The AHIMA board looks forward to working with David on behalf of our members as we advance information governance and other critical issues that will turn health information into health intelligence and improve patient care while lowering costs.”
