Who leads Meditech? 5 execs to know 

Westwood, Mass.-based EHR vendor Meditech is led by a collection of tech industry veterans and previous healthcare executives.

Here are five Meditech executives to know:

1. Howard Messing, CEO. Mr. Messing has served as CEO of Meditech since 2010. Prior to his promotion, he was president and COO, a position he held for nearly eight years.

2. Barbara Manzolillo, CFO. Ms. Manzolillo joined Meditech in 1975, when she started her career with the company working in accounts receivable. Before being appointed to CFO in 1996, she served in various roles including assistant comptroller, comptroller and treasurer, a position she still holds.

3. Michelle O’Connor, president and COO. As president and COO, Ms. O’Connor oversees development of Meditech’s Expanse EHR user interface and web-based software. She joined the company in 1988 as an implementation programmer and later became vice president of product development.

4. Scott Radner, vice president of advanced technology. In his role, Mr. Radner leads Meditech’s adoption of new technology for products and support for its tech infrastructure. He is largely involved with Meditech’s use of public cloud computing and joined the company in 1990.

5. Geoff Smith, vice president of product development. Mr. Smith began his career at Meditech in 1989 as a programmer. In 1998, he was promoted to director of development of Meditech’s international group. He now oversees the company’s international initiatives and manages its development relationship with Meditech South Africa and development for the U.K. and Ireland.
