Oracle Health has been accelerating its AI integration while expanding its EHR technology at multiple health systems.

For instance, Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems is consolidating its acute-care EHR with Oracle Health.

“This next step will further strengthen our digital ecosystem and better support clinicians in delivering exceptional care and outcomes for their patients,” Patrice Bordron, senior vice president and chief digital information officer of Community Health Systems, told Becker’s for a Dec. 30 story. This will position the 69-hospital system to “harness technology and AI across the clinical continuum, enabling earlier, more personalized prevention, detection, and treatment of disease.”

Here are five times Becker’s reported on Oracle Health over the past month:

1. Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare and Oracle Health were sued over a data breach involving the EHR vendor’s legacy Cerner systems, Becker’s reported Jan. 27.

2. Market intelligence firm Black Book Research named Oracle Health the top ambulatory EHR for general surgery Jan. 15.

3. Canton, Ohio-based Aultman Health System is integrating Nabla’s ambient AI technology into its Oracle Health EHR, Nabla said Jan. 15.

4. Hamilton, N.Y.-based Community Memorial Hospital plans to replace its legacy EHR systems with Oracle Health technology, Oracle said Jan. 12.

5. Community Health Systems is accelerating its “EHR modernization, cloud strategy, and interoperability initiatives by transitioning to a unified acute-care EHR” from Oracle Health, Becker’s reported Dec. 30.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
