Oracle Health, the nation’s second-largest EHR vendor by hospital market share, had a busy November, from new partnerships to an interoperability advancement.

1. Oracle Health Information Network was named a Qualified Health Information Network under the federal Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement for data interoperability Nov. 20.
2. Oracle said Nov. 19 it’s bringing a “rare mix of startup energy and enterprise reach” as it builds a new global hub in Nashville, Tenn., citing the city’s “two powerhouse industries — healthcare and technology.”
3. ONC certified Oracle Health’s new EHR on Nov. 18 for use by ambulatory providers in the U.S.
4. Oracle elected the former chief executive of Quest Diagnostics to its board Nov. 18 as the software giant aims to expand its healthcare presence.
5. Cleveland Clinic has a “growing and very interesting collaboration with Oracle and Oracle Health as well as with Ellison Institute of Technology,” President and CEO Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD, said at Becker’s CEO + CFO Roundtable, Becker’s reported Nov. 17.
6. Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin, Ill., plans to replace its EHR with Oracle Health’s CommunityWorks platform as it looks to streamline operations and reduce administrative work for clinicians, Oracle said Nov. 14.
7. Oracle Health remains one of the EHR market leaders for small, standalone hospitals, according to KLAS Research, with six community hospitals recently adopting the platform, Becker’s reported Nov. 13.
8. A majority of early users say Oracle Health’s new Clinical AI Agent is reducing documentation time and easing clinician burnout, according to a Nov. 12 KLAS Research report.
9. Patient engagement platform Luma Health acquired digital health and patient intake software firm Tonic Health from R1 RCM on Nov. 12, saying the acquisition demonstrates its commitment to serving health systems using Oracle Health EHRs.
10. Oracle Health now reports to Mike Sicilia, co-CEO of Oracle, Bloomberg reported Nov. 11.
11. Baraga County Memorial Hospital in L’Anse, Mich., is expanding its partnership with Oracle Health to standardize technology across its facilities and improve clinical and operational efficiency, Oracle said Nov. 10.
12. Oracle Health and Life Sciences partnered with the Cancer Center Informatics Society on Nov. 7 to develop new AI applications aimed at improving cancer care and research.
