Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin, Ill., plans to replace its EHR system with Oracle Health’s CommunityWorks platform as it looks to streamline operations and reduce administrative work for clinicians.
The 25-bed critical access hospital will also implement Oracle Health’s Clinical AI Agent, a voice-enabled documentation tool designed to automatically generate clinical notes from patient visits.
According to a Nov. 14 press release, the hospital’s current patchwork of legacy systems has created disconnected workflows and added administrative burden.
Oracle Health says CommunityWorks is designed for the clinical, financial and operational needs of smaller and rural health systems, including critical access hospitals.
