Oracle Health and Life Sciences is partnering with the Cancer Center Informatics Society to develop new AI applications aimed at improving cancer care and research.
The partnership combines Oracle’s data and AI technologies with Ci4CC’s network of National Cancer Institute-designated and community cancer centers. The organizations plan to design an EHR tailored to oncology and pursue projects that integrate data and AI to support personalized medicine, clinical trials and precision oncology.
Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, said in a Nov. 7 news release the initiative could help accelerate cancer discoveries through data science and technology.
