Miami-based Mount Sinai Medical Center is one of the first healthcare organizations to implement a new Spanish-language, AI-powered tool from Epic.
The tool is a Spanish-language version of Epic’s Augmented Response Technology (ART), according to a July 22 news release. The tool uses generative AI to analyze messages sent through MyChart and draft suggested replies for providers to review, edit and send.
The technology was developed with input from Mount Sinai Medical Center.
ART debuted in 2023 for English-language messaging, and the multilingual version is expected to expand to additional healthcare organizations by the end of 2025.
