Allscripts appoints former accounting exec to board of directors

Beth Altman, former executive at KPMG accounting firm, joined Allscripts’ board of directors as a member of the audit committee of the board, according to a June 2 news release.

Ms. Altman brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, business development and strategic planning to the position. Most recently, Ms. Altman served as the lead audit partner for several global clients in the life sciences, technology and consumerism sectors, before retiring in 2019.

Since last October, Ms. Altman has served on the board of directors and on the audit committee of CV Sciences and as a board member of the Corporate Directors Forum.
