Digital health: Who’s up, who’s down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with new startups coming on to the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

 

  1. SoulBeing, a digital mental health and wellness platform, went live on the Walgreens Find Care marketplace. 
  2. Google Cloud, Highmark and League are collaborating to launch a new digital health company for Highmark Health insurance members. 

 

Companies that had a bad week:

 

  1. Sema4, a genetics company spun off from New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System, laid off 32.5 percent of its workforce.
  2. EHR vendor Allscripts lost a client, as Lewisburg, Pa.-based Evangelical Community Hospital switched over to Epic.
