Dedrone gains 5 new investors

Five founders and executives from Silicon Valley have invested in Dedrone, a San Francisco-based drone detection company.

The investors, who raised a seven-figure amount, include:

  • Dominic Orr, CEO of Aruba Networks
  • Selina Lo, CEO of Ruckus Wireless
  • Hans Robertson, cofounder and COO of Meraki
  • Tom Noonan, former chairman, president and CEO of Internet Security Systems
  • Trevor Healy, former CEO of Jajah and Amobee

"We are delighted that we have been able to win the support of these successful entrepreneurs," said Dedrone Cofounder and CEO Jörg Lamprecht. "Their know-how and access to their networks are even more important than the money."

Dedrone created DroneTracker, which detects civilian drones and defends against their misuse.
