TriageLogic introduced a new telehealth product, Continuwell. The product provides on-demand nurses and physicians to determine appropriate care.

Continuwell enables nurses and, if needed, physicians, to offer care for those who call in or use the mobile application. The service allows nurses to use physician-written guided protocols to evaluate callers and determine care without involving a telehealth physician. Contacting a Continuwell is free for all members of the service.

“One of the biggest challenges for telehealth is to get people to actually make the call. First, there is an expense to calling a doctor, and second, people are intimated to call when they are not sure if their symptoms are serious. Our nurses eliminate that barrier, because they are free to call and nurses are traditionally the first line of care in medicine,” said Continuwell CEO Charu Raheja, PhD, in a statement.
