Through the implementation, CommonWell’s member organizations will be better equipped to exchange data and improve interoperability.
One of CommonWell’s members, Brightree, will be the first to deploy the FHIR capabilities.
“By leveraging these latest FHIR specifications, CommonWell is taking the first of many steps to leverage FHIR for clinical interoperability, and plans to support additional FHIR specifications later this year,” said CommonWell Executive Director Jitin Asnaani.
