Through HealthNav, patients can schedule an appointment, have a virtual visit with a physician and locate the nearest BayCare emergency room, among other features.

Both BayCare or non-BayCare patients can download the free app.

“HealthNav can provide guidance, information and links to care options based on someone’s non-urgent symptoms, right from a smartphone or tablet,” said Eli Freilich, MD, BayCare’s director of clinical performance. “The app can be a resource that fits in with today’s busy lifestyles and help people return to their daily activities as quickly as possible.”
