- The company’s full-year operating income was 2.5 percent of its total revenue. In 2016, the company reported an operating income of $26.6 million. This is an increase from 2015, when it reported an operating loss of $4.1 million, representing 0.4 percent of its total revenue for the year.
- For the second year in a row, the company’s full-year net income has increased. In 2016, the company reported a net income of $21 million, compared to $14 million in 2015. In 2014, athenahealth reported a net loss of $3.1 million.
