Catholic Health Services of Long Island rolls out provider-to-provider communication app

New York-based Catholic Health Services of Long Island has unveiled a new mobile app for its physicians.

The app — developed in collaboration with Uniphy Health, a mobile health company focused on clinical communications — aims to improve patient care by facilitating connections between hospital staff and physicians. The app enables physicians to share clinical information, manage referrals and message other staff members.

The app also displays on-call schedules and organizational news updates to keep staff up-to-date.
