The Journal reported that while the median Alphabet employee’s pay dropped 5 percent from 2021-22, most Goolge staff received pay increases for 2023. The average salary at Alphabet is $280,000 and the company has plans to cut around 12,000 jobs.
Alphabet’s median salary ranked No. 3 overall, behind Meta and Vici Properties. The top 20 average salaries also included ServiceNow, at $221,433 and Salesforce at $199,130. ServiceNow reported a 5 percent decline from 2021-22 while Salesforce median pay jumped 10 percent.
