Here are four things to know about Mr. Olis.
1. He has served as senior vice president of strategic initiatives since November. He previously served as Allscripts’ senior vice president of operations.
2. He will replace Melinda Whittington as CFO, who is leaving Allscripts.
3. He worked in various finance roles at Motorola for more than 25 years before joining Allscripts in 2012.
4. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Milwaukee-based Marquette University and a master’s degree in business administration and accounting from Chicago-based DePaul University.
