A specific patient population at Berkshire Medical Center will receive Garmin’s vivofit devices, which will send real-time data to Allscripts’ FollowMyHealth population health management platform, providing care providers with a view of patients’ health status between office visits.

“We expect to demonstrate improvements in patient engagement and monitoring for patients, as well as more efficient workflows for our providers,” said Bill Young, CIO of Berkshire Medical Center.
