The EHRs are now OK’ed for Modified Meaningful Use Stage 2, Meaningful Use Stage 3, Advancing Care Information and ACI transition requirements.

Allscripts is one of the first EHR vendors to meet full 2015 edition health IT product criteria for its EHRs. Epic achieved certification for its EpicCare Ambulatory EHR Suite and EpicCare Inpatient EHR Suite in late 2016. Athenahealth, Cerner, Meditech and McKesson EHRs have not been certified under the 2015 criteria.

“Ensuring our clients are well positioned to meet all the qualifications from CMS and ONC is one of Allscripts’ top priorities, and we’re proud to be first in the industry to achieve certification across our solutions that adhere to these requirements,” Paul M. Black, CEO of Allscripts, said in a news release.

Allscripts was certified by Drummond Group, one of several software certification organizations ONC approved to test EHR software under the new criteria.
