The first funding opportunity, PA-16-282, requested grant applications for the development of CDS to disseminate and implement patient-centered outcomes research findings. The total cost of a project awarded under this opportunity would not have exceeded $2.25 million, according to the original AHRQ request.

The second, PA-16-283, also involved using CDS for patient-centered outcomes research. However, this research request sought to scale established CDS to extend the impact of support systems. The total cost of a project awarded under this opportunity would not have exceeded $1 million.

AHRQ said it is “in the process of developing replacement funding announcements.”
