Here are four things to know.

1. AdvantageCare Physicians is a multispecialty physician practice based in New York. The practice’s 36 locations serve approximately half a million patients.

2. AdvantageCare Physicians achieved Stage 6 recognition with Epic’s EHR. The practice went live on Epic across its 36 locations in 2014.

3. The EMRAM model has eight stages (0-7). No medical facilities within New York have achieved Stage 7 yet, and AdvantageCare Physicians is one of five to reach Stage 6.

4. “A healthcare organization cannot reach Stage 6 without a complete team effort. From our IT team and partners at Epic who built the technology infrastructure and are continually improving our clinical information system, to our providers, care teams and support staff across ACP, our success is built on teamwork and dedication to providing the highest quality of care for our patients,” said Navarra Rodriguez, MD, AdvantageCare Physicians’ chief medical informatics officer.
