The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported during the past week.

New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals will advance patient data security using a private cloud from Palo Alto, Calif.-based Accellion's platform, kiteworks.

MIT Medical, an ambulatory care center affiliated with Cambridge-based Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will deploy clinical, financial and population health management systems from Cerner.

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International, an organization comprised of more than 29,000 members, selected IBM Watson to evaluate 911 respondents Aug. 14.

The Morgan County Commission in Alabama unanimously voted to extend its contract with MDLive during a budget hearing Aug. 9.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center tapped Roundtable Analytics to deliver predictive analytics services in its emergency department Aug. 10.

St. Joseph, Mich.-based Lakeland Health entered into an agreement with Royal Philips Aug. 15 to utilize the Philips IntelliVue Guardian Solution with automated early warning scoring at all three of its hospitals.
