4 Health Systems’ Ambulatory Clinics Reach HIMSS Stage 6

HIMSS Analytics has recently recognized ambulatory clinics at four health systems for reaching stage 6 on its Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.

The four health systems include:

Harris Health System (Houston) — 6 ambulatory clinics
Lancaster (Pa.) General Health — 67 ambulatory clinics
Mayo Clinic Health System (Rochester, Minn.) — 16 ambulatory facilities
St. Elizabeth Healthcare (Edgewood, Ky.) — 113 ambulatory facilities

Currently, just 1,222 of the more than 20,000 ambulatory clinics in the HIMSS database have reached stage 6.
