HIMSS Analytics has recognized 25 hospitals that have reached stage 6 on its Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.

Since 2005, HIMSS Analytics' EMR Adoption Model has tracked electronic medical record adoption in hospitals and health systems throughout the country. To date, 681 hospitals have reached the penultimate stage 6.
