11 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. J.D. McCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities, a specialized pediatric rehabilitative hospital in Norman, Okla., selected Evident for its EHR and financial management software. 

2. On Dec. 3, Ireland's Maternal & Newborn Clinical Management System went live in Cork (Ireland) University Maternity Hospital.

3. SnapMD, a Glendale, Calif.-based telemedicine company, joined forces with athenahealth's "More Disruption Please" program to offer its services on the athenahealth marketplace. 

4. San Jose, Calif.-based Vocera secured the largest contract in its history — a $14 million agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense.

5. EarlySense added telehealth services alongside its home health monitoring solution, thanks to a partnership with American Well.

6. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health entered a partnership with telehealth provider Avizia.

7. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare's Infectious Diseases TeleHealth program aims to improve infectious disease care and antibiotic prescriptions.

8. New Lenox, Ill.-based SilverCrossHospital partnered with Teladoc to offer patients remote treatment services.

10. Grays Harbor County Public Hospital District No. 1, which includes Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Wash., will launch the Meditech EHR systemwide.

11. San Francisco-based McKesson wrapped up its acquisition of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-based Rexall Health.
