Mr. Yates shared the following tip with Becker’s Hospital Review.
“High-deductible health plans and the number of uninsured will grow in 2018, putting more pressure on providers to collect from patients. Developing a solid segmentation strategy that looks for missing insurance, identifies financial assistance/charity and tiers accounts into the appropriate activity group will be key. This will maximize resource activity and provide the best return for providers.”
