Doylestown Health receives 2 record-setting $5M donations

The Doylestown (Pa.) Health Foundation received two $5 million donations, representing the largest single gifts in its history, to fund capital projects across the health system.

Alex and Patricia Gorsky and Richard and Angela Clark  pledged their donations to Doylestown Health’s Second Century Fund, which will support expansion and renovation efforts at the Doylestown Hospital and Doylestown-based Pine Run Retirement Community campus.

“We are deeply grateful to the Gorskys and the Clarks for their leadership and significant investments in our future,” said Jim Brexler, President and CEO of Doylestown Health. “These transformational gifts will help us realize our vision as we approach our second century of delivering healthcare.”

Mr. Gorsky is the CEO of Johnson & Johnson and is a former member of the hospital’s board.
