1. Tenet's Conifer contracted for RCM at 11 WellStar hospitals
Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's revenue cycle subsidiary, Conifer Health Solutions, started serving six additional WellStar Health system hospitals.

2. Accounting firm launches RCM service for rural hospitals
Windham Brannon, an audit and accounting firm, will provide advisory and financial assistance to rural hospital through its revenue cycle consortium.

3. UnitedHealth's Optum takes over Quest Diagnostics' billing processes
UnitedHealth Group's revenue cycle management arm, Optum, has struck a 10-year deal with lab giant Quest Diagnostics.

4. KPMG ends contract with Broward Health over audit dispute
Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., split with accounting firm KPMG after the firm refused a contract addendum that would have extensively restricted its inquiry powers into Broward's activities.

5. Glenhill Advisors lowers stake in Tenet
Glenhill Advisors reduced its stake in Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare by 34.9 percent in the most recent quarter.
