Calling all medical coders. Central Learning will pay $5,000 to coders with exceptional performance.
It's all part of the company's first national ICD-10 coding contest, called "Code Your Way to $5K." Central Learning will pay $5,000 to the inpatient coder with the highest average accuracy and productivity scores across 10 inpatient cases. The company will also give $5,000 to the emergency department and ambulatory surgery coder with the highest average accuracy and productivity scores across 30 outpatient cases.
The contest runs through Sept. 18.
