Moody's Investors Service has affirmed the "A3" issuer rating on St. Augustine, Fla.-based Flagler Hospital.
The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Flagler's leading market position and history of stable operating performance.
The hospital's challenges include its proximity to the competitive market in Jacksonville, Fla., as well as a high concentration of governmental payers, which limit revenue growth.
The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Service's expectations that margins and liquidity will be sustained.
