Catholic Health sees revenue increase 14.9% in FY 2015

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health reported total revenue exceeding $1.1 billion for fiscal year 2015, up 14.9 percent from $957 million the year prior, reports Buffalo Business First.

Below are three things to know about Catholic Health’s finances.

1. Catholic Health reported a net surplus of more than $27 million in FY 2015. In FY 2014, the hospital system recorded a $42.7 million surplus.

2. Catholic Health recorded operating income of $12.3 million in FY 2015, down 69.9 percent from $40.8 million in FY 2014.

3. Unpaid debt associated with Medicaid enrollees increased from $47.4 million in FY 2014 to $56.1 million in FY 2015.
