Moody's affirms 'Aa2' rating for Duke University Health System

Moody's Investors Service affirmed its "Aa2" rating for Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System, affecting $1.38 billion of rated debt.

The rating reflects the system's national reputation as a leading provider of tertiary and quaternary services, and Moody's expectation it will maintain solid margins and cash levels. However, the rating also acknowledges the risks associated with Duke University Health System's extensive capital projects.

The rating outlook is stable.
