Kindred said it will close Harborlights Nursing in Boston, Tower Hill Nursing in Canton, Highgate Nursing in Dedham, Avery Manor Nursing in Needham and Massachusetts Assisted Living in Needham.
In a filing with the state, Kindred said it will lay off 628 employees from the Massachusetts facilities by Feb. 3, 2018, according to the report.
“The company has transferred the day-to-day operations of these facilities to a third party and expects the closing of these facilities will be completed in the second quarter of 2018,” Kindred said in a statement to the Boston Business Journal.
