Fitch upgrades Holland Community Hospital to ‘AA-‘

Fitch Ratings upgraded its rating on Holland (Mich.) Community Hospital to “AA-” from “A+,” affecting $77.3 million of debt.

Concurrently, Fitch assigned its “AA-” issuer default rating to the hospital.

The upgrade and assignment are a result of several factors, including the hospital’s leading local market position, strong profitability, strong cash-to-adjusted debt ratios and moderate capital needs.

The outlook is stable.
