Radiology group taps leader for revenue cycle optimization: 4 things to know

Strategic Radiology, a coalition of 25 independent, private radiology practices, named Sharon Fremer vice president of revenue cycle optimization.

Four things to know:

1. Ms. Fremer’s healthcare revenue cycle experience includes transcription, coding, billing, collections, account management and technology implementation.

2. Previously, she worked for Alpharetta, Ga.-based IPG, a provider of surgical cost management solutions.

3. She also held executive-level positions at Precyse Solutions, Medaphis Physician Services, Cardinal Health and RevenueMed.

4. At Strategic Radiology, Ms. Fremer will lead the revenue cycle optimization program.
