Concurrently, Fitch assigned its “A” issuer default rating to Good Shepherd.
The affirmation and assignment are a result of Good Shepherd’s leading market position for rehabilitation and long-term acute care, strong leverage ratio and solid cash flow generation. Fitch also acknowledged the rehabilitation network’s weakened operating profitability over the past several years.
The outlook is stable.
