Emdeon nets $7.9M in Q2 income: 4 things to know

Revenue cycle management company Emdeon has reported its second quarter financial results.

Here are four things to know about the company’s financial performance for the second quarter of 2015.

1. Emdeon reported $7.9 million in net income for the quarter, up from a $59.5 million loss in the second quarter of 2014.

2. Solutions revenue for the quarter increased 5.9 percent from $249.1 million to $263.8 million.

3. The company’s adjusted EBITDA for the quarter increased 8.4 percent to $97.9 million.

4. In July, Emdeon agreed to purchase Altegra Health. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
