CHS: More Than $2.5B of 2015 Senior Notes Tendered

Community Health Systems, based in Franklin, Tenn., has announced that $2.5 billion of the approximate $2.8 billion in 8.875 percent senior notes due in 2015 has been validly tendered and not withdrawn, according to a CHS news release.

Payment for the purchased notes is expected to be made today, and the tender offer will expire on Dec. 6.
