Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems has announced that one of its subsidiaries has formed a definitive agreement to acquire Roswell (N.M.) Regional Hospital, according to a CHS news release.
The deal is expected to close during the first quarter of 2012. If it is finalized, Roswell Regional will be the seventh CHS-affiliated hospital in New Mexico.
The CHS subsidiary acquiring Roswell Regional was not explicitly named in the news release.
