Moody’s Investors Service downgraded the ratings of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems after the for-profit hospital operator released the final results of its debt exchange June 20. Moody’s downgraded CHS’ corporate family rating to “Caa2” from “Caa1.”

Fitch Ratings affirmed its “A” issuer default rating on Kennedy, Texas-based Karnes County Hospital District. Fitch also affirmed its “A” rating on the district’s $45.1 million series 2014 revenue bonds.
