Fitch affirms ‘A’ rating on Karnes County Hospital District

Fitch Ratings affirmed its “A” issuer default rating on Kennedy, Texas-based Karnes County Hospital District. Fitch also affirmed its “A” rating on the district’s $45.1 million series 2014 revenue bonds.

The affirmation is a result of several factors, including the district’s strong taxing margin that supports operations, strong operating performance, moderate capital needs and strong cost flexibility.

The outlook is stable.
