14 recent hospital, health system outlook and credit rating actions

The following hospital and health system rating and outlook changes and affirmations took place in the last week, beginning with the most recent.

1. S&P places Mississippi Baptist Health System on CreditWatch developing
S&P Global Ratings placed Jackson-based Mississippi Baptist Health System's "BBB+" rated series 2007A and 2015B revenue bonds issued by Mississippi Hospital Equipment and Facilities Authority on CreditWatch developing. 

2. Fitch upgrades Children's Hospital of Orange County to 'A+'
Fitch Ratings upgraded the rating to "A+" from "A" on Calif.-based Children's Hospital of Orange County's outstanding debt. 

3. Moody's downgrades Magnolia Regional Health Center's bonds to 'Baa3'
Moody's Investors Service downgraded Corinth, Miss.-based Magnolia Regional Health Center's revenue bonds to "Baa3" from "Baa2," affecting $77.8 million of outstanding debt issued through the Mississippi Development Bank. 

4. Moody's affirms OhioHealth's 'Aa2' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "Aa2," "Aa2/VMIG1" and "P-1" ratings on Columbus-based OhioHealth, affecting $1 billion of debt. 

5. Moody's withdraws 'A2' rating of Hillcrest Health Service System
Moody's Investors Service withdrew the "A2" rating on Hackensack, N.J.-based Hillcrest Health Service System, affecting $40 million of outstanding debt. 

6. Moody's assigns 'Aa3' rating to Parkview Health System's bonds
Moody's Investors Service assigned its "Aa3" rating to Columbia City, Ind.-based Parkview Health System's proposed $115.5 million series 2017A hospital revenue refunding bonds issued by the Indiana Finance Authority. The bonds will mature in 2030.

7. Moody's assigns 'A3' rating to Wyoming Medical Center's bonds
Moody's Investors Service assigned its "A3" rating to Casper-based Wyoming Medical Center's proposed $12.3 million series 2017 hospital revenue refunding bonds issued by Natrona County, Wyo. The bonds will mature in 2031.

8. S&P revises Southeast Georgia Health System's outlook to negative
S&P Global Ratings affirmed the "A-" rating on Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System's series 2015 and 2008 revenue anticipation certificates issued by the Glynn Brunswick Memorial Hospital Authority. 

9. Moody's revises Memorial Hermann Health System's outlook to stable
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A1" rating on Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System's outstanding debt, affecting $1.2 billion.

10. Moody's affirms 'A2' rating on Honor Health's revenue bonds
Moody's Investors Service affirmed its "A2" rating on Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Honor Health's revenue bonds, affecting $659 million of debt. 

11. Moody's downgrades Pinnacle Health System's rating to 'A3'
Moody's Investors Service downgraded Harrisburg, Pa.-based Pinnacle Health System's rating to "A3" from "A2" on debt issued through Dauphine County General Authority, affecting $287 million.

12. S&P revises Presence Health Network Obligated Group's outlook to stable
S&P Global Ratings affirmed the 'BBB-' long-term rating on Chicago-based Presence Health Network Obligated Group's $1 billion series 2016C fixed-rate bonds issued by the Illinois Finance Authority. 

13. Moody's affirms 'Baa1' rating on Central Washington Hospital's bonds
Moody's Investors Service affirmed its "Baa1" rating on Wenatchee-based Central Washington Hospital's revenue bonds issued by the Washington Health Care Facilities Authority, affecting $116 million of rated debt. 

14. Moody’s affirms 'Aa3' rating on Rady Children's Hospital's revenue bonds
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "Aa3" rating on San Diego, Calif.-based Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center's revenue bonds issued by the California Statewide Communities Development Authority and California Health Facilities Financing Authority, affecting $379 million of debt.
