10 RCM service expansions in March

Here are 10 revenue cycle management service expansions involving healthcare vendors and providers in March.

1. Revenue cycle services company Advantum Health acquired Med Advantage, a provider enrollment and credentialing verification organization, March 6.

2. CareCloud, a provider of revenue cycle management, practice management, EHR and patient experience management solutions, will host a summit this fall focused on physician practices that use the company's technology and services.

 3. The Queen's Health Systems in Honolulu partnered with AccessOne, a provider of patient payment options.

4. Cognizant agreed to acquire RCM company Bolder Healthcare Solutions.

5. Sonoma (Calif.) Valley Hospital, a 75-bed district facility, chose health IT solutions provider ezDI for various tools aimed at revenue cycle improvement.

6. R1 RCM revealed its new revenue cycle platform called Patient Experience.

7. VitalWare is adding a professional Revenue Integrity Services business unit.

8. Columbia-based University of Missouri Health Care will deploy Cerner's revenue cycle management offerings at various facilities.

9. iVita Financial, a patient payment solutions provider, is offering patients a loan program that will allow them to pay prior to treatment.

10. RevSolve, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based provider of receivables management and recovery solutions, merged with USCB America, a Los Angeles-based provider of business process outsourcing and accounts receivable management solutions.
